Ship N’ Logic LLC ("ShipNLogic," "we," "us," or "our") provides a shipping and logistics platform that lets businesses compare carrier rates, buy shipping labels, track shipments, and manage claims. This Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information that we collect through the shipnlogic.us website, the ShipNLogic web dashboard, the ShipNLogic desktop app, the integrations you connect to them, and our related marketing and sales activities (collectively, the "Service").
Notice to residents of certain U.S. states: see the State privacy rights notice below for information about your rights under applicable state privacy laws.
Our role: your data and your recipients' data

You are responsible for having the right to share it with us. If you are a recipient of a shipment sent through ShipNLogic and have questions about how your information is used, please contact the business that shipped to you; we will help them respond.
This Privacy Policy otherwise describes how we handle personal information about our customers' account users, website visitors, and prospective customers.

These results are used to inform you and our team; they are not used to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Service improvement and analytics
We analyze use of the Service to understand which pages and features are used and how, measure engagement with our emails, fix problems, improve the Service and the rest of our business, and develop new products and services.
Direct marketing

Aggregated and de-identified data
We may create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data from personal information by removing information that makes it identifiable to you, and we will not attempt to re-identify it. We may use and share this data for our lawful business purposes, including analyzing and improving the Service and promoting our business.
Further uses
If we want to use your personal information for a purpose that is not compatible with the purpose for which it was collected, we will ask for your consent first.
How we share your personal information
We do not sell personal information. We may share personal information with the following parties, or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:
- Carriers. The carriers that move your shipments, such as UPS, USPS, and FedEx, receive the shipment, recipient, and customs information needed to rate, label, deliver, and handle claims. For international shipments, this information is also provided to customs and other authorities in the destination country.
- Shipping service providers. Providers that help us obtain rates, verify addresses, purchase labels, and file claims.
- Integrations you connect. When you connect Shopify, QuickBooks, Sage, or another integration, we exchange data with it as needed to operate that integration, such as writing tracking numbers back to orders.
- Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, information technology, customer support, email delivery, document processing, and website and product analytics.
- Payment processors. Payment card information is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, which uses it in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Users on your account. Other users in your organization can see the shipments, orders, claims, and billing information associated with your organization's account.
- Third parties designated by you. Third parties you instruct us, or consent for us, to share information with.
- Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers, in the course of the professional services they render to us.

- Business transferees. Parties to an actual or prospective business transaction, such as an investment, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, or an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, including prospective counterparties and their advisers and an acquirer, successor, or assignee.
Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including for as long as your account is active. We keep some information after that, including after an account is closed, where it is required for legal, tax, carrier-claim, and billing records, to establish or defend legal claims, or to prevent fraud. In deciding how long to keep information, we consider its amount, nature, and sensitivity, the risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process it, and applicable legal requirements. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it, anonymize it, or isolate it from further processing.
For orders imported from a store you connect, such as Shopify, we remove the recipient's name, company, street address, phone number, email, and delivery instructions from the shipping label 120 days after the label is created. We keep the city, state, postal code, and country for billing and carrier invoice records. If a claim is open on the shipment, we keep the details until the claim is closed. Rate quotes for imported orders are deleted after 30 days.
